It’s the death damage boosting, plus lightning spam most of the time. The NW is there to use bats to control air units and clean up ground units, while the NW herself clears out any potential threats to the golem itself. That being if she doesn’t die. But yeah, Golem decks take no skill, throw down golem and win unless someone has Inferno dragon or sparky.

Golem is brain dead to an extent. Only players like Emir, Flobby and Vailon I've seen get top spots with it. But Golem first player is mid- risk, mid- reward.

@@pastyIe Not hating or anything, just curious: doesn’t hog take no skill as well for the most part, obviously more than a golem but using the same logic you literally just spam hog at the bridge over and over for easy damage. To be fair, there are many counters to hog but in a lot of cases the hog will still get at least 1-2 hits off. Because it is very fast and it does almost 400 damage a hit, it is very hard to fully minimize damage without throwing out too much elixir in most cases so it would be considered hardly any skill like golem, but still harder than golem to get good damage. Just my opinion tell me if I’m wrong

@@Alex-tp4le hog is easily countered with nado, golem😶😶. And the death damage of golem is more than 2 hits from a hog rider. If you really know how to counter hog, its not as much a threat compared to golem, 1 mistake with 2.6 vs golem, its over.

I love how Oyassu still makes occasional hilarious mistakes like the rest of us mere mortals, but then still wins because he is so damn good at cycling back to whatever he needs. It's insane to watch, and humbling because even when I don't make an obvious mistake like a wasted fireball, I still lose. Oyassu understands this deck so well that he can make those mistakes and still come out on top. Truly awesome man
