Wrapping up what was a marathon day of poker, the High Roller event at WPT World Championship’s Day 1A pulled out all the stops. With a hefty $25,700 buy-in, it wasn't for the faint-hearted! As the clock ticked well past midnight, Ethan ‘Rampage' Yau put his years of gaming experience to good use and came out on top as champion with an impressive $894k take-home. @@chadwellington2524 that's bullshit he could have done that with any smaller pocket pair for value definitely considering the action preflop. The sizing was perfect and indicated weakness. In a cashgame this would have been an easy fold but in a tournament the variants are different. I'm sure that if Kevin didn't have it's hand made people like you would have said it was an easy call. It wasn't definitely not on the turn. Only three hands were beating rampage specific hand at the time and two of these hands rampage would have had decent equaty against to call for that price. The fold was really amazing. You clearly don't ok now poker profoundly. A9, A10,Aj, J9, J10,would have played the hand the same way for value and even AK may have done the same as a semi bluff

When people buy poker players action, I think they should have a rule that forces that player that sold the action to not be allowed to buy additional buy ins alone afterwards. I can see how it gives players a edge to play more loose & aggressively from the start because obviously they have less to lose because of selling action. This style of tournament poker has been abused and not acknowledged for a long long time!!!

I'm sure you're a nice guy, but when the horseshoe falls out, I wanna see how you react. The KQ fold, was smart. You knew damn well, the J was a horrible card. No reason to get involved. Although, calling a small bet on the turn, is fine too. See what develops on the river. You could still have the best hand. Even the commentator said it could be a blocking bet, in position. Not sure if you explained, but what were you thinking, with the J8 in the BB, when SB limped? The A3 was a cooler, and you got lucky. Nothing you can do there. And the 89 suited was a good shove, in my opinion.
