2 Acid Techno tracks using

I made this little live act using 3 Pure Acid App (AUV3) in AUM
The Kick and the Hh Open goes out like sub out.
Track 1 is the drum
Track 2 and 3 are Pure Acid.
Main effect using Turnado App
All is triggered using the Akai Midi Mix controller via midi learn
In this way you can do the same for hours using the patterns.
This app is very power and the sound is the same of the original 303 BassLine

Been looking all over for something like this, where they actually explain what’s going on. Having read through the comments, the Midimix is just what I’m after. I assume you build up the individual sequences in the various apps and pick which knobs you want control over, then bring them in and out with the faders.

hi, quick question on the midimix, is it possible to switch midi channels on the device? so that i can map all knobs for channel 1, then switch to channel 2 and use completly different parameters on the knobs? And my second question is how is your midi setup here. Are you sending on 1 channel to all AUM channels and just midi learn to all or do you have 3 knobs per collumn which maps to 1 channel in AUM?

1 no is not possible, 2 all is mapped on channel 1

I disagree with Alex's answer. There is a free "MidiMix Editor" available for PC or Mac. For every knob and button you can set the MIDI channel and CC number. All of the buttons can be set to send CC or note messages too (so you can use the buttons as pads).

You can save multiple "presets" on your computer (mapping different channels and/or values for each knob, slider, and button), but you would have to connect your MidiMix to your computer and load the correct preset. It would be nice if there was a MidiMix editor for the iPad too.

love this and this app - do you have pure acid running the effects to an aum track? also what are you using on the loop knob? do you have the pure acid xy pads mapped, or just the amount of send? any reason why you keep aum up instead of using the touch of the ipad?

I’m using PA like AUV3, 2 for drum and 2 for Bass line. The effects are insert. The midimix controller is mapped with midi learn function in PA. I touch the ipad for change and trig the drum. Is so simple

dude you rule. thanks for the info, and again awesome set. i think i need to get a dedicated midi bluetooth controller similar to what you have got - right now i am using an opz with aum and although the opz does bluetooth, it needs to be connected for usb audio via the iOS port. amazing for a highly highly mobile jamming which i do a lot of
