1:00:00 (I haven’t studied EM waves yet so excuse me if my doubt sounds silly) In the function of E, why can’t we calculate the maxima (using calculus or other methods) and then use it in the formula K = E - Φ Because, maximum K will be when the value of E is maximum.

@@amishajha6514 E,E1,E2 do not represent energy….here they represent EM waves….their equation is being represented…..the coefficient of t represents angular frequency(ω)….the general equation of any plane progressive harmonic wave is y=Asin(ωt-kx+φ) where K= ω/v so the general equation can also be written as y=Asinω(t-x/v+φ/ω) ….and if we differentiate this equation with respect to time..we get velocity of particle which is ∂y/∂t=Aωcos(ωt-kx+φ) which has maximum value of Aω(maximum velocity of the particle in a wave)….when cos(ωt-kx+φ)=1……so differentiation doesn’t work here to give maximum energy as i said…E,E1,E2 don’t represent energy….

@@amishajha6514 here we are concerned about frequency….bcz if incident frequency is more..then KE max is more too….and incident frequency is more when angular frequency(ω) is more as ω=2πf ….and ω is the coefficient of t in the general equation of any wave….which was y=Asin(ωt-kx+φ) …… See…this all thing is explained in depth….in the chapter wave on a string taught in 11th…check out abj sir’s playlist…he explained everything beautifully….and u must know SHM somewhat to study that chapter….general equations of SHM and all that stuff

For conversion: 15:46 Note: "h" SI Unit= Joule second (ev-second ) If you do it from basics then h=6.6*10^-34 Joule second and c= 3*10^8 m/s so hc= calculate with unit J*m (SI UNIT) For ev-Angstrom 1J= 1/(1.6*10^-19)ev So Here h= 6.6 * 10^-34 Joules Second = 4.14*10^-15 ev SECOND 1m=10^10A c= 3* 10^18 A/second Now after calculation hc(In ev-A) = 1242 ev-nm

1:05:00 i understand that the given wave is superposition of two waves with different frequencies, but as the two waves are now superimposed that is they are not discrete so as the amplitude and all gets changed will frequency of resultant superimposed wave not change?

I think when Light strike metal it behave as particles not wave so no interference here,so i think we need not to consider it as single wave but as two different photons.
