Can I just give a shoutout to Dr Liz Greene’s book ‘Saturn: A new look at an old devil’. It has helped me enormously to learn about Saturn’s energy and placement in the birth chart. It is the teacher through Pain. Oh boy, what a teacher! Her Jungian perspective is so insightful as she correlates Saturn with the shadow and what we project onto others. Highly recommended. Another book of hers ‘The Astrology of Fate’ is extremely helpful where Pluto is concerned too.

I was looking at the website earlier: worth checking out as there are some good webinars and training material on offer. They are also publishers with a great series from Jungian astrologers. On Sunday there is a talk on Saturn and Kore Goddesses with Safron Rossi which looks great. I have no affiliation with them btw just being a conduit!

Amazing, Molly. Thank you so much! Cap is my 10th house in WSHS (9th in Placidus). My Satirn is also at 17 Cap. My MC is at 29:40 Cap. Pluto in Cap since 2008 has been a super intense roller-coaster in my professional life. There were many surprising successes at the beginning (I also have Jupiter and Juno there!), but when it transited my natal Saturn (and opposed mynatal Mars at 16:20 Cancer in my 4th) it was super difficult... all the Pluto shadow - jealousy, envy, treachery, power struggles, underhand enemies, etc - manifested and threatened to destroy my career!... all this forced me to face the biggest challenges in my life and to rise from the ashes they wanted to submerge me into!... I did manage, and came out having cleaned my name and having upgraded my levels of professional performance! But I've also been left quite traumatised by so much disillusionment... it tested my metal and I proved myself in unimaginable ways! (With a lot of professional respect coming my way from very high level colleagues in my field!). But I have become more cynical and sceptical of others' ethics... I handled all the challenges with amazing staying power and self-confidence, but I have seen the darker sides of people's souls... Pluto is still very much conjuncting my MC (conjuncting my Venus and my Pallas). I'm still not clear about how it's transforming (deeply and permanently) my public presence, but I must say I'm looking forward to a lighter ride with Pluto in Aquarius in my 11th!

Interesting. After 9 years of dodging my ex in some areas of the city we both lived in, and could pass each other at any time without knowing it, we reconnected the first week of February of 2008. He’s, I learned only 5-6 years ago, is a covert narcissist. My dad, I realized around the same time, was a very, very mean narcissist. I’ve got CPTSD from my childhood. It was also around 2008-2009 my “awakening” began, although I didn’t know what the heck was happening. So, so many lessons and evolution within me. I’ve a “mystic” type of natal chart. What a dang choice I made before being born to be here, much less come here with what I would be born into, and, very surprising, I have survived. Still healing, yet, I have survived. In 2009 I met a "soul connection" when pluto opposed my venus, squared our exactly conjunct progressed moons that were conjunct his MC & sun-moon midpoint. Pluto has since squared my moon ( opposing his as we have tightly square moons). I have gone through a lot of difficult family & work issues with these transits. Though not in contact with the "connection" he must also be going through stuff as his progressed moon just conjuncted his chiron & his venus is 29.59 Capricorn. I do feel calm & at peace now, hope he also can reach a state of peace.

Natal = Cap in 4H (1st 10 deg in 3H) & Saturn in Pisces 5H (Aqua Sun 4H) Since 2008 to the present... 1- Aug '08: end of 12 yr marriage 2- Moved 11X which covered three states and three countries 3- Went through five monogamous relationships 3- Went through six different spiritual communities 4- Father transitioned Jan 2023 5- The artist, poet, and writer within became activated 100% 6- At the core of all the above: discovering that I didn't know that I didn't how out of touch I am with how I feel The inner work of realizing the unconscious definitions of what hearth and home are, what family is, and the social values held re these, have been revelatory, to say the least. The first few years were harrowing and looking back, I appreciate the grace of my inherent spiritual tenacity. Only now that I am in the first decade of the second half of my bodily existence, can I say (with supreme honesty & gratitude in my heart), "Yes, I would gladly live through all of it again." Pluto moving in my 5H for the next 20 yrs is like seeing the puzzle slide in effortlessly. I have a stellium here which includes Chiron in Pisces. My NN (Rahu) is in Aries 7H. This is all about coming home AND falling in love within (marriage/unification of conscious & subconscious) -- I expect many inner conceptions, births, and deaths of creative expressions in sharing & out-picturing of I Am. That’s exactly where my Saturn is! I’ve had to reckon with how my own mental state and self-talk has affected my personal relationships. Pluto has been in my 3rd H aspecting my natal Pluto/Moon conjunction. Wow and Wow talk about a awaken while listening to your video. Capricorn Ascendent and Moon in Capricorn has always been hard for me to understand until recently (thanks to your course and videos). I get it now though. This video was like a piece that was missing, you know that piece that is very important in completing a puzzle. I see so many things now about what Capricorn has been trying to teach me and what the Pluto transit has transformed for me. Having Natal Saturn in Pisces in 3rd house and with the transit of Saturn in Pisces, the lessons on responsibility have been drilled home. I AM responsible for my emotions; I am responsible for my Karma (Capricorn) and my connection to spirit (law of oneness) and my spiritual journey. Since 2008, I've had Pluto crossing my Capricorn Saturn, Jupiter, Vesta, and Ascendant in the 12th house and it's been back and forth over Pallas in Cap in the 1st for some time now. 12th house stuff is intense. Pluto in Capricorn has been intense. And I'm intense (Pluto is also square my Gemini sun natally). Transformation? I guess, yes, but through loss and betrayal and profoundly deep dives into healing ancestral wounds. And still learning to settle and be ok with this deeper understanding of my solo journey in this world. 💜 Pure wisdom! My moon is in Capricorn and I've had 4 major injuries, and no less that 1.5 years on crutches since 2008. My Saturn is in the 12th in Virgo, so it's been about the mind-body connection... and isolation. I'm still deep in it as I have Saturn at 29° and my Libran Ascendant is also at 29° in the South Node. Thank you, Molly! Natal Saturn in 10th house. Pluto in Capricorn 11th house. Wish fulfillment vs. Workmanship---Structure and discipline vs. Sacrifice and comfort. Understanding the basics of wants vs. needs and what it looks like to suit up and show up to meet and cater to these themes, claiming authority over self in order to develop and thus implement the practical application of necessary life skills. This, coupled with themes around self-worth and the ideas around what sparks my true authentic life's happiness---these are the areas where I've learned the most about resistance and resilience; self determination required to achieve this much needed balance between work and joy---self vs. others---authority and subordination, all of which have been under rigorous scrutiny and thus perpetual development and growth with my natal Saturn in the 10th house in Sag., and under the Pluto in Capricorn energies in my natal 11th house. Of course, as soon as the video ended I started applying the same technique to Pluto in Aquarius. I used Uranus as the ruler rather than Saturn. Uranus 9 deg, Neptune 14 deg, Saturn 24 deg of Capricorn in the 6th house. Soo much around physical healing, complete career change and stepping into service. It has come with major shake ups, addiction recovery, international travel and a lot of spiritual growth in many practical ways. One last hooray this week as Pluto at 29degrees has been opposite cancer moon at 29 degrees of the 12 house. Family Dog passing, Dad diagnosed with cancer and mom passing away all in the course of a week. Grieving out the rest as this chapter closes 🙏🕊✨️

Thank you - that was very helpful. My life fundamentally changed from 2008 to now, moving back to my hometown, giving up my freelance creative job to work in an administration. All this to provide stability as a single mom for my son (Capricorn at the cusp of 5th house). It was a hard journey, but it turned me into a more patient, responsible and realistic person (all qualities I dreaded before!). Now he is a young adult and left for college, leaving me with a new freedom (Aquarius). The natal Saturn part was escpecially illuminating for me, thanks for this!

Thanks, Molly. Great guidance for reflection of past 16 years. For me, 2008-2010 my father, then my brother and then my mother died. Deep pain and grief. 2011-2020 was becoming female elder in my female lineage - clearing personal and ancestral trauma, transforming my self-identity, ending life patterns that were draining my life energy, finding solitude inside me. 2020-2024 strengthening capacity to manage trauma stress and ptsd, experiencing and ending past pain and grief, developing and growing into ancestral soul crone life legacy, finding and living into a new life path. Grateful to be moving into more familiar and comfortable air sign in new embodied self. At 78, I’m looking forward to creating with Uranus and Pluto energy and gifts in Aquarius, my 10th & 11th houses.

Virgo here. I have found Pluto in Capricorn quite brutal, 5 deaths, daughter left home, pet died, left work, 1 operation, horrid neighbours moved in next door, 1 house move botched by lockdown rules, and another health scare. As Pluto goes into Aquarius, I'll take one day at a time, he took a lot from me. Keeping another eye on Uranus as well.

Interesting that the root chakra, associated with the earth element, is where the inner child resides. So many of us have had to return to addressing karma from past lifetimes, ancestral trauma, and transmuting ancestral energies. Some have gone so far as to purify, energetically, the soil of ancestral homes. I feel the need to do that in the place of my ancestors' land and am excited for the opportunity to do so. For those of us born with Pluto in Virgo and Chiron in Pisces, I feel that bettering ourselves health-wise both spiritually and physically are paramount right now. How blessed we are to be here and feel these buffeting but transiting, transitional, and transformative energies. It's a wonderful time to be alive and reconnect with Creator.

Molly, this was so helpful, thank you. Capricorn is on my midheaven and wow, talk about such a deep transformation in my career and calling. The essential nature of who I know myself to be and what I'm here to do has remained the same, but how it's getting expressed has been recalibrated over and over again. It has felt like a never ending marathon in some ways. I am steadier though, more clear, more confident, more grounded. And I am quite familiar with transformational energy with my Scorpio sun.... but still, whew!!! This time hasn't been a walk in the park. I still would love to sleep for a few weeks in the shift between pluto in cap to pluto in aquarius. I guess those first few degrees are that down time/bridge time. I appreciate this video.
