I'd remember in the summer during the 90s me and my friends would be all over Toronto. We'd, ride our bikes to so many places, jump on the transit bus and take the train and never felt unsafe. As an adult in my late 30s now I wouldn't venture to many parts of Toronto in 2024. How did such a city fall in the last 10-12 years?

We did not ban handguns. There is a freeze on buying selling and transferring them but current legal owners are allowed to keep and use them at the range. Criminals are not affected by these new regulations as they never got them through legal channels and never go through the process of registering and legally transferring ownership
