Great job to both players. I think it was really tough to play in the shadows of the evening there.....Danny played in the sunlight.... Both players seemed to struggle a little with speed & line..... I'm Team Bella, but I felt bad for Matthew.... Not that Bella is so "intimidating", like a Seve or Koepka giving you the death stare.... But when you take that first tee with her, you have to be thinking "Keep it together, no mistakes, No mess ups, nice clean round here...." And then you blow up like a pickup truck full of ANFO on the first hole???? Uhh, yeah, all your zen and deep breathing and namaste just went out the window.... Tough tough start for Matthew...

What a brutal outing for both players, but especially Matthew, who was hitting the ball far too hard all game. Perhaps hapless Matthew thought he was driving in a longest ball contest at the annual office tournament. Bella won this match through triage. Matthew now owns the worst record in elimination play, with 4 wins and 7 losses, while his average balloons to 43.3 SPG, worse than everyone with 5 games or more except Wolf. For her part, Bella ties her fiancé for the best overall elimination record, at 9-4, but her average score increases to 41.6 SPG, pumping Bella down to fourth behind Danny, Steven and Tommy.

@@SuperDave44Mag Not sure why Danny said Matthew had performed well in past elimination tournaments. Yes, he has made it to two finals (that both went to a playoff), but in his five other tournaments, Matthew bit the dust after a single game.
