You can also run a wireless boom with your rode mic go, again you need the right TRS or TRRS cable though. Good stuff bro! Keep these up!

The issue is either that adapter you got Is TRRS or TRS, Look at the rings in the 3.5 If its 3 then get one with 2. TRRS and TRS work different, also check the input in your recorder between line, mic and phantom power as well, doubt that thing needs it but you dont' want that mic to stop working. Sending phantom power to a self powered mic will kill it with the voltage.

Ahhhhh that's probably what happened to my previous mic (self powered) I must have fried it internally smfh.

@@AlbertoMendoza yes, I always forget since im usually rushed for audio lol but it can happen, its very common. Sometimes you get lucky but eventually it gives.
