2 Card Slay the Spire Run - Consistent Turn 1 Infinite Combo

This run was sweet. I could have optimized the fights a bit more, like Thunderclap on Champ etc, but I didn't want to lose the run to a silly mistake like miscounting cards. Everything went right... got every remove we could want, the Panache+ to save us from the event before the end. GG

Yeah Shuriken would have been the nuts. I originally got the achieve with Silent with an Acrobatics/Gamble/Concentrate infinite.

What does concentrate do again? Acrobatics is the draw 3 discard one and Gamble is the discard your hand draw the same amount, so I assume its either damage when discarded or its a power based on drawing/discarding/card being played.

I am so mad because I just missed my best opportunity to get the achievement. Had a +11 searing blow with the double damage relic along side a bash in the beginning into a clash and vulnerable strike, it was the perfect draw (searing blow was guaranteed because of a relic) and the only reason I couldn't 1 shot the time eater is because I opted to heal at the last rest instead of leveling searing blow. instead of doing 410 damage I did 380, and with the double damage and vulnerable I would have killed it :( . Almost 1 shot with a 40 card deck.

I've just beaten Donu and Deca on Ascension 9 with Ironclad using four card deck: two Dropkicks, Madness and Thunderclap. Got 1331 points score. Preeetty goood. BTW It's also infinite mana deck.

There is more to say - cheese is cheese. They'll probably add a minimum deck size mechanic or max cards playable in a turn to eliminate cheese. Still some RNG involved though as a mob with damage reflect would wreck this.

Of course it would've ruined the combo, but you could do 66 Damage Turn 1 into 72 Damage the following turns. You'd have to survive 6 more turns (not calculating in the Weakness-Debuff + 20 Block he can gain or the Heal). So the outcome of the battle is almost always grim.

You can see what boss you're fighting this floor, and while this combo gets hard countered by Time Eater, he did look and see the 3rd boss. If it was time eater, he'd have changed his strat (albeit slightly since it would be found this late). Lastly, any *hard forced* deck will get *hard* countered. This is called being "Greedy" which occurs various times in card games. If you go all-in on your strategy, and no defense, one mistake or enemy-type and you can fail. If you dilute your strategy to add in some block, then you can make up for the mistake. Yes, CB got really lucky early on, and even later on too. A greedy deck wins with more luck than strategy, but if you don't want to get hard-countered, don't build a greedy deck. CB signed up for the greed, and was banking on fighting someone other than Time Eater. It paid off.

yes, i'm ignorant, because still don't understand. I mean, yeah, my deck with 38 card that recyclies itself by 80% in one turn weren't infinite, but it's definitely recycle one. What i can say about time eater - yeah, he was pain in the ass, but that's all. What i keep hearing is - "Omg, it's time eater, you gonna lose 100%". That's what i don't understand! Yeah, he is gonna be a pain, but if your deck isn't absolutely terrible one, you can cope with that 12 turns limit. If not - that recycle deck has no meaning if it recycle itself without doing anything. P.S. What i wanted to hear exactly "experience of situation". Tell me roughly what your deck had, how battle progressed, and how time eater made you lose. It would be great information for me in the future.

Arjen Brenninkmeijer is letter opener or spinning top rarer. Whichever has the more common relic i feel would be easier to get. Also I feel exhaust cards that you can control what gets exhausted are helpful for infinites because you don't have to get super lucky with peace pipe lose two card start with events that take away cards. You can just lower your deck down low enough for flash of steal or any free draw card with a damage for playing cards or skills to becom an infinite.
