Probability of drawing at least 1 shine ball in your opening hand in a 40 card deck is 34% going first and 39% going second. Higher than you might think.

Aqyn is correct. You did something wrong, Frozen. It's roughly 39 percent chance to open with a card you run 3 of in the deck if going second. A deck like this doesn't have searchers either so you wouldn't take in consideration outside factors. If they could make this turbo that'd be key because if you don't open with Venus you cant really make plays.

now i am convinced that konami made number 41 just so we can rely heavily on links Konami: wanna play the game , well you you must buy the new cards that we are selling, forget about the old ones , our new [(skill drain)+(level limit-area )+only non links effected] all in a generic rank 4 , will make your money run away from your pockets faster than you say "ban that card"

+EXPMech the links cant be put in defense position, so the effect which puts all monsters in def position and the effect that negates the effects of def position monsters doesnt apply ,so if you are playing 41 with links, only the opponent will be affected , not your link monsters

Yea they only have about 34 percent chance to open with Venus so two thirds of the games open without your game winning card and thus more times than not it bricks.

How Zoo? Zoo is one of the decks not affected by this. They summon their XYZ back from the GY and only have 1 summoned from the extra deck on board usually and then win out next turn by repeating what they did first turn. They don't need Links to do what they've been doing unless they want to do Emeral to recycle.
