This is not going to turn out good cause I know the baby mama is just pretending she want that man in this child life. The child already has a father she has bonded to. Your fooling yourself if you think this man will ever be able to be her father after they have bonded like that. I been there. After a certain age and in this situation, the father really don't have a good chance of bonding with this child without removing primary custody. If he going to be a father and bond with this child he has to go for custody. She should have left this alone. The paternity in child support can also be used to open up a custody dispute. My kid mom tried this with me and 4 years later she was the non-custodial parent. A parent shouldn't use the court if they truly don't wont that other parent involved cause the court will hold you to it.

I pay for my kids who choose to live with their dad and my husband has given me money to pay my support if I didn't have enough due to cut hours. I would also expect any woman my ex was with to care about my kids and if she mistreated them I would expect my ex to drop her. The kids don't get to pick who their parents are let alone who they are with so it's our jobs to make sure our kids having loving people to take care of them. He didn't look happy about the paternity results either. When his wife married him, she didn't know he was a father and that she was going to have to deal with a baby mama and be a stepmother. That has to be a bit of a shock. She didn't say anything negative about the little girl, only the nagging baby mama who wants that child support money. Both cases are sad. The first one, I thought the guy's new wife had a terrible attitude. At first I thought she was going to be different, than what she turned out to be. The other one was sad, because that woman has had a terrible life, some of which was her own doing. At least now, she will know who her biological parents are.

In the second case, I felt sorry for the adopted parents, since I'm sure they did all they could for her, but when she turned 13 and the hormones turned on, she played the "adopted" card by running all over and getting into everything, because that "boarding school" was one of those intervention places to keep her out of jail. As you said, she made a lot of her own problems. Let's see how her "real dad" handles her now. I think he made his six kids tow the line.

I think the state may have been involved in taking her at that time and it wasn't a "boarding school" program. She said something about being allowed to leave if you finish school or and option to stay if until the program ends. That sounds more like a residential program/facility for children who have been in legal trouble (i.e. truancy with school, violence, crimes etc etc). Some will have an end time of 19 years old with a release. They will then hep place the young person in an apartment, get a case manager and other community resources to get started in life. Those programs usually will help the young people find jobs and it's up to them to attempt and learn to be independent. I don't think she was telling the full story of what happened. Pieces sounded jumbled.

Men always get blamed my brother who we’ve just connected with and found was told by his mom he had no dad or siblings my father looked for him for many years until 22 years later we found him. His mom put roots on my dad made him do things I’ve never seen write ✍️ bad checks steal etc when he was making $100K in the 90’s and lost it all. She took my brother away moved away and hid him only to tell him my father was a deadbeat knowing good and well she was just mad 😡 he left her and her evil 👿 ways smh 🤦‍♂️. Luckily we got to make up with him for all this lost time that was all my dad wanted and he got that wish sadly a 1 1/2 years before he passed. R.I.P Dad I miss you so much such a great man that took care of not only us but Childen he adopted and from group homes 🏡
