Great tutorial fam! . Can you kindly do one for rhythmically chopping up a long sound when the music is playing. I’ve seen folks do it with the upfaders or crossfader. Mine sounds like ass. Eg maze & frankie beverly- Before I let you goooooooo - go o o ooo o . The goooooo gets chopped musically. I hope I’m making sense!

Great stuff bro. I have the SRT it can be a bitch scratching on this thing cause I’m light handed and the SRT platters use pressure. Takes a bit to get used to thanks for breaking this down. Subscribed👍🏼
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
Appreciate it bro 🙏🏾 Yeah man, I’m used to my Rane’s and the SRT is definitely throwing me off aha. Seems like track skips sometimes when I’m scratching too, or maybe I’m just not applying enough pressure. Appreciate that sub as well!

@@DJLiftOFF i actually feel that same way even considered selling my SRT for an SX3 but i just can’t deal with Serato fx they are shit compared to the hardware fx on the SRT lol may just buy one for a backup though 🤣🤷🏼♂️

does the rane twelve moving plater make it easier to learn to scratch ..i have the pioneer srt1000 ...do you think the rane is worth the money ..i want to learn to scratch ..do the rane make it more easy and fun to learn ..or should i just learn to scratch with my srt1000..give me your feedback and opinion ..thanks ..
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
In my honest opinion, the range twelves absolutely make it 100% easier to learn to scratch. This is a personal opinion, but learning on moving platters is the way to go. Then once you’ve got it, scratching on jog wheels is nothing. But the fundamental, it’s easier to learn how moving tables. I recently bought the 1000srt and I didn’t like it. However, I’m very used to my rane’s so I didn’t expect to love it, but I found it hard to scratch because it would like almost skip sometimes.

@@DJLiftOFF thanks so much dor the quick reply ..ibam going to buy them now ..what mixer you recomend to start on ..i see alot options out there...i was thinking the rane 70 0r the s7 pioneer ..around the price range was even thinking abouy the numark scartch ..what you think
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
@@jesustirado743 you’re welcome! Dope! I love the s9 and s7. I haven’t had a chance to use the Rane 70 quite yet or the numark so I might not be a huge help. I know that the rane 70 has inputs for the USB’s from the twelves which is nice because with the s9, I have to use a powered usb hub. But I honestly, if you’re just starting out and wanted to save money, it wouldn’t be bad to go with something more basic if you’re truly just focusing on scratching. The other mixers have a lot of bells and whistles and may take your focus away from scratching.
@DJLiftOFF3 жыл бұрын
But I could be totally wrong and you still solely focus on scratching either way, so no option is bad here!
