Manipur has been split since 3 May 2023. The hills (Kuki-dominated areas) and the valley (Meetei-dominated areas) have been separated politically, demographically, and geographically. CRPF jawans posting in the hills are safe and sound, but those posting in the valley are under attack by joint valley-based Meetei militants - UNLF & Arambai Tenggol - with their 5000+ looted automatic guns from the Manipur police armory. These militants are roaming freely with those sophisticated weapons and creating mayhem in the valley for almost a year. Even during the LS Election, these Meetei militants captured votes for the BJP candidate, which was vehemently confronted by Mr. Bimol Akoijam, an intending candidate of Congress. And now they have attacked the CRPF who are posting in the Meetei-dominated area (Narasena) and made excuses by pointing fingers at the Kukis.

Firstly, Kuki didn't attack the Central forces. We respect their presence over the years. If they were not there, worse things will happen. The CM of Manipur is full of lies against the Kukis and the Manipur Police is actively participating in the attacks of the Kuki comminuty.
