I’m so with you about coverage claims, that’s super super dependent on a person’s skin! And there’s also even variations within light/medium/full ranges too. I like to know what a product claims but also don’t feel like it’s a great indicator a lot of the time.

Another foundation I have never heard of! I have been trying to not buy as much makeup so perhaps that is why. So many light coverage foundations out these days. How about a video rating all the ones that you have tried so far? Loving your eye look on the second day sooo much! Beautiful!!!

So so so beautiful and your hair looks so cute pulled up in that high ponytail......wow the foundation does look WAY WAY better with powder underneath.... I have been using this Korean brand foundation that has great oil control and coverage. It covers almost all of my acne scars. It also does great with not transferring very much to face masks. It's my new holy grail! The only issue is that the shade selection is extremely limited since it's a Korean brand. If you think you could match it, you should check it out! It's the 3CE Velvet Fit Foundation

Loreal isn't cruelty free unfortunately 😭 but I have a friend who is dry /normal and she LOVES that serum foundation! I hope that somewhat helped! 💕

Omgg I have so many! It really Depends on my mood and what I am looking for in terms of coverage and finish that day. But rn my current favs are essence pretty natural hydrating, urban decay stay naked, it Cosmetics Matte cc cream, wet n wild tinted hydrator, Laura geller baked n brighten foundation. Hope this helps!

When I have acne I wash my face with almost no soap exfoliate lightly with a warm wash cloth and apply a mask of cerave daily moisturizing lotion to a wet face and wait 15 min. usually my face will surprisingly soak almost all of it up, if not I wipe away the excess lightly and apply my foundation. It prevents even flaking skin from drying out for at least a work day.

yea I always moisturize before I apply makeup but sometimes it still looks flakey, depending on the foundation. But it definitely helps reduce how dry it looks!

Have you tried the NO7 Match made Custom blend drops foundation? It gets to true full coverage so quick, looks skin like, last long, and no acne breakouts so far. I picked up the shade Latte and it's too neutral, you would defenetively be lighter than latte just fyi, because its def worth trying! I'm using it to spot conceal sandwiched between foundation layers because it has so much coverage.

This particular product made me super oily (I did a blot-free test). Am I the only one who likes these types of products only in the winter?? 😂 btw, I found my first EVER cushion foundation that worked on my oily skin (and was nice coverage)!!!! The Dr Gio cushion foundation. It’s cruelty free (which I know you require). Please please try it out-it’s on sale too. Dying to know what you think. Thanks for the Juno n co tips!

I used to be really into light coverage skin tint type of foundations, wanted to be a cool Glossier type of girl lol Over time I realized they just don't work for me, always turn very oily as the day goes on, and basically fade away to nothing half way through the day. I don't like having to blot and touch up my make up, once I step out of my bathroom I'm done with my face. Also personally I have this mental block when the light coverage foundations are priced too high, like you aren't even giving me coverage, how dare you charge full price. Light coverage should be reflected in light price, but that's just my weird hang up.

Omg I feel the same way! When I tried the pat McGrath foundation and saw how sheer it was for the price, I was like... This is slightly tinted water wtf? I also agree that I prefer more medium coverage because I have more to cover, so if it's medium on people with clear skin, it'll be light medium coverage on me. I hope that makes sense lol

I feel like from what I see, the side with primer is just a little more shiney than the side without. I'm glad I watched this review, cuz I have acne prone skin, and I was looking at this foundation. I think I'm gonna skip on it though.

No one's skin is perfect...Mine has acne scarring from years ago. I exfoliate and that helps gets rid of the dead skin... Having said that, with your personality and charm....I stopped noticing your skin issues and you just glow from within. I am a huge fan, if you didnt guess...LOL

aww thank you, you are so kind! and yes my got her acne taken off YEARS ago and for SO long she had scarring and even now I can see it faintly but it took years to heal. I try to take care of my skin and looking back I wish I started even sooner
