If I remember correctly, Jongmin is acknowledged as the history genius. On a side note, Jongmin also said in s3 that he had a hard time readjusting to the show. No wonder as the 6 guys have really bonded well in the 2 years that he was gone.

김종민 들어와서 망한건 아님, 2년동안 공익하면서 당연히 연예쪽과는 일이 무관했으니 그야 감각 떨어질만도 하지. 다만 김종민 들어와서 갑자기 7인체제로 바뀌면서 팀 대결이 조금 어색해진 면이 있고 김종민도 1년 넘게 감을 못 잡고 욕만 먹었으니.. 다만 김C 나가고나서가 이제 문제, 김C가 나간거자체는 별 문제가 없었는데 6인체제로 안정적으로 흘러가다가 갑자기 mc몽 군대가 터져버리면서 5인체제 시작. 많이 삐그덕 댔지만 그래도 1박2일 네임빨이 있는데 계속 버팀. 5인체제로 못 버티겠는지 6인체제 시작할려고 엄태웅을 부름. 1박 2일 후반기. 2011-2012. 다만 다시 6인체제로 돌아와서 괜찮아졌고 김종민은 감 좀 찾았고 엄태웅은 예능 신입이여서 당연히 적응 못함. 다만 1년동안 잘 한건 좋았는데 갑자기 잘 하다가 강호동 탈세가 기사나면서 강호동이 자진퇴장해버림.(나중엔 아닌걸로 결론났지만..) 메인 mc가 덜컥 빠져버리면서 이승기랑 이수근으로 5인체제 버티던 1박 2일은 종영선언. 그리고 2012년 2월에 끝... 5년동안의 세월이 무색하게 끝나버림..

Most trips were aired for 2 weeks as the part 1 and part 2 (some long trips had the part 3 in the third week too, such as Baekdu mountain trip in China) - Trip No. 59 - *Geomun Island Trip* (the island with a lighthouse and staff had to carry all equipments to the lighthouse) - Trip No. 60 - the 3rd *"Cold Weather Survivor Training"* at inje (There was a blizzard in the morning and they had to walk down the mountain) - Trip No. 61 - *"Extreme Weather Survivor"* at Mt. Kalbong, Gapyeong County (Kim Jong Min had the comeback to the show)

i stopped watching it around this time before. jongmin was good. he came back as a better person. it's just that i love the characters & chemistry between the other 6 so when jongmin came back and the others started to depart, they couldn't retained the chemistry like before. not sure about how the current season is doing. hope kbs has developed new chemistry and blend their characters better. i still miss them six! >.

김종민이 말아먹긴ㅋㅋㅋ 김종민이 적응 덜 돼서 한동안 겉돌긴 했어도 그렇다고 프로그램이 흔들릴 정도는 아니었다ㅇㅇ 김C 빠지고 MC몽 쫓겨나고 하나둘 없어지면서 분위기 이상해진 게 컸지. 결국 강호동이 탈세 뜨고 은퇴선언한게 크리티컬이 돼서 시즌1 끝장난거지ㅇㅇ
