Great post, BK! That woodstove in the hut didn't keep the chill off all night I guess, could see your breath next morning while you sipped coffee. Fantastic weather you had though. That seems to be the norm with your episodes. I have seen a few of your rain videos that you posted in the early days of your channel. Have not seen one in a while. Anyway, great content, quality, production and presentation as always! Cheers.

Thanks Rick. Yeah we didn't bother to keep it going all night. Weather was superb. I just do trips I want to do on my days off. If it's raining it's raining, if it's not it's not. I have been quite lucky with good weather on my days off recently. Cheers mate.

Sweet little hike that loop. Done a heap of trapping and hunting up on those tops yet I’ve never stayed in either of those huts. Looked a bit nippy up there still🤙🤙

Hey mate! Thanks for the comment. It was a fun trip. Yeah, I've have the tarp out in a decent bit of rain (not quite a turd floater haha) in fiordland and it has held up well. This summer I'll be putting it to use alot more so I'm hoping to give it a good testing. Cheers!

fond memories of walking out from Bobs biv with a deer over my shoulders. Don't know if they could have picked a colder spot for it though.

Thanks Patrick. My food is mostly just a freeze dried or dehydrated dinner and then bars and snacks for the rest of the day and normally wraps for lunch. I'll have to touch on it at some point. Cheers!
