Thank you very much , My Turkish Professor can't explain these things well. You have no idea how useful these videos are for me. I really appreciate it

I have done Master degree, and I am doing a self-study about Steel Structures Design and Analysis. This course is very useful and goes deep in some details. Thank you Dr. Mohammad I hope we will see same this course about Reinforced Concrete Design.

I am a mechanical engineer (ESPE) who graduated from Ecuador. I currently work in the United States. This information is very useful for reviewing and applying the concepts for the design of steel structures. Many thanks.

I am studying your lessons sir. Thank you very much. I work at a design firm, and I lack knowledge with these fundamentals. I am learning a lot of things here despite working for 4 years already. I decided to learn these things seriously and build a firm of my own. Thank you for the inspiration!

Thanks for a brilliant presentation which clarified several points for a non civil background person like me. I have a query. Seismic loads are strength based. It is to be multiplied by 0.7 for use in ASD calculations. If I need to calculate deflection due to seismic loads what load do I take, the higher LRFD one or lower ASD one.

Dear Dr. Noureldin Thank you for your nice video. Would you explain me the philosophy of increasing the loads and decreasing the resistance in LRFD design method . If we are at the elastic zone in HOOK curve or pass to plastic zone in LRFD method ? . What is the main concept by increasing the loads if we do not pass to plastic zone, or it is virtual and we remain in elastic zone. I can’t catch the beauty of LRFD if don’t understand the logic of assumes in LRFD . Please clarify it me if possible. My in advance gratitude. H Rahimi

In ASD, we divided the nominal strength by safety factor, and then you said no resistant factor, could you explain please

Hello guys, can someone explain me, in LRFD or in LSD, we calculate a plastic moments for members , when i calculating portal frame , should I use superposition method and design all elements of frame by they own, or calculate All frame using virtual work/ Equilibrium method, and find Plastic moment from there?
