This technique is just perfect. I can do it quite easily when I see the numbers written on paper. However, it takes me much longer when I don't write the numbers down. It's a little difficult for me to see the numbers in my head while performing the calculations.

Hello Sir, I was not keen on Maths because my teachers were not encouraging but I learned and tried my own way. Your methods are really easy and fun to learn. It's,a great way to teach mental maths All you need to memorize is your multiplications.

You don't even need to memorize your multiplications if you can add-up fast. 6x9 is 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54... Just keep adding 6 until you've added 9 of them. Or better yet, apply some logic... 6x9 is (6x10)-6.
