I Learned this technique In 1971/72from FRED GRUBER when I was taking lessons from him He used the Frank Higgins 92 rock ‘n’ roll Beats book and had me doing this, something very similar to this I still use this technique to this day this is a great video this technique really works it’s been around a while but it really works! There’s also some Great high hat techniques In the Gene Krupa book Using Sticks!

I have utilized this technique before but I use it more when I am on my ride cymbal and throwing the "flick" gives it a more noticeable nuance. Even better if you can do the "flick" as an open hat followed by a close with the left foot.

Thank you for yor great effort. I'm always wondering why people try to find random names for all of their stuff. Flick trick...WOW. I think the main problem is the standard drum setup we are using and we are so caught up in building it up again and again. Unfortunately, this is also determined by the music market. But please all try it once and place the hihat relatively low and directly in front of you (i.e. behind the snare drum). Of course, you can't open the hihat while playing (unless you have a cable hihat or some other shaft). It's not only a kind of open-handed playing, but much more, because you can use both hands equally!

Nice tutorial! This channel is my go-to because it feels like home. I would like to ask regarding Double + Flick, I noticed that I am almost always doing this because the sound really looks sick. However I am doing it in a fast RLR instead of RRL. Is there any advantage for double stroke instead of what I am doing (RLR) so that I can be inspired to do doubles? Still a beginner here. I'm still mastering single stroke before I jump on to double strokes.

Its time to get right with Jesus. nobody is automatically gonna go to heaven at the end of it, we all have lied or stolen or had sex before marriage and the punishment is hell. Jesus died so you can get a clean slate and forgiveness of future sins if you repent of them once you commit them, so you receive the gift of forgiveness by following him. When you start you have to stop sinning, and follow his word and obey it. That’s following Jesus. Read your Bible!!!
@fadidankiha2132
@fadidankiha2132 2 жыл бұрын
God loves you all and you can all be saved (if not already) by just putting faith in Jesus Christ and repenting of sins (turning to God from sin and changing your mind on sin) And you should ask for forgiveness of your sins (this can be anywhere) have a nice day Jesus is my lord! And the solution to hell! And dressing sexually/posing sexually is a sin but it's forgivable but just because a sin is forgivable doesn't mean you should commit it that's abusing Gods grace/forgiveness or it could be and the same applies for listening to music with sin in the lyrics and the same applies for insulting people even when they insult you and being toxic And show mercy to be shown mercy by God And good deeds are kind acts that the person doing it has no cost for it. And I'm not a bot
