If you want to convert a portrait image to landscape, or simply extend a background to improve your framing, Photoshop makes it easy. Thank you for this. It is exactly what I needed. Even though my photoshop doesn't have content-aware cropping it does have content away scaling and I needed to extend areas near the edge of a book to wrap around without moving the text and graphics that were too close to the edge!!
