Just goes to show that you dont need a massive pond to keep some stunning koi and get them to 2ft, very nice!

Quality Nishikigoi I live in the us florida I have a 10ftx6ftx3ft deep with a viewing window it was all the space I had and I couldn’t dig down florida is all coral , I’m planning to buy an eazypod complete and was thinking to go gravity fed with a varipump for return also a slimmer filter and filter spillway , since it is an above ground pond do I drill the feed line as close to the bottom as possible or is there a formula I need to go by please help much thinks any ideas will help

I am using Hose tail Elbow polyprop ( plastic ) bsp Female Thread. They don't seem to thread properly on my jesbo pump properly. I could see a leak on them If I am honest while they are supposed to fit 32mm ID pipe my pvc flexi pipe feels loose in order to get the pipe to fit I used some ptfe tape and some silicone. Then used a strong jubilee clip. This seems to give me a seal. But when I screwed the elbows onto the pumps they dont seem to screw onto the pumps right they seem tight but i have noticed a leak in the elbow whats your thoughts? The leak comes from the round tightening ring you screw onto the pump. In the future I may need to upgrade the pumps to some thing better perhaps.

Is it just me or anyone else not in love with the viewing glass window? IDK but watching Koi from the top of the water feature isn’t the same as from the side.

Would an easy pod manage a 1800 gallon pond?

I don’t think so

My Friend can you show us how they put the glass windows in these ponds ? They are beautiful and want to know how the glass windows are installed or explain by getting a better shot of the glass next to the walls and explanation and point out the tips for perfect glass installation, thank you so much !!!

What are Eazy pod like on the biological side of filtration? Or are they mainly mechanical 👍
@TimWaddington2 жыл бұрын
As long as you don’t overstock they are good for both.

Hi Tim, great video showing the two Easypod setups! On the first pond, could you tell me how the skimmer runs the three blades? is there a (second) separate pump for this or does the Varipump 10,000 do all the work but with a two connections? All best Darren

Great video Tim question if I may can I put k1 micro in my nexus 200 as in just put it in the original Eazy ?
@hippo53464 жыл бұрын
Have an easy pod on my pond . Just considering replacing the K1 with the micro version . Would this improve the fines removal . Notice micro is used on the bigger nexus filters 👍
@GinolasVideos3 жыл бұрын
I've replaced the K1 with K1 Micro, definite improvement with fines and water clarity.

probably get a lot better water quality if they turn those air pumps down a bit, not sure how anything is supposed to settle and end up in the drain
@richd-koi4 жыл бұрын
Lovely pond but yeah too much splashing going on. Needs slowing down to make it a calmer more relaxing pond
@richd-koi4 жыл бұрын
@@yasinrashid probably right mate 👍 imo theres too much going on less waterfalls and aeration more relaxing slow it all down

Hi Tim, could you tell me where I can get the glass surrounds for my pond?
@patricksheringham59654 жыл бұрын
You should be able to sort toughened glass from a local supplier, Google glass suppliers in your area....... The glass clamps are used on glass staircases or balconies so search these also, they are also for sale on Ebay and Amazon but make sure that you get 316 stainless steel (316 is the grade) as they will not rust......

As a rough guide mine came in at around £50 per square metre , to have it done professionally . That was 5 years ago 👍

@paulanderton2674 жыл бұрын
I didn’t know you could fibreglass a sleeper pond, presumed the wood expanding and contracting could damage it.
