What I love about this channel is that it's just a boy with a camera doing spontaneous stuff and showing different countries and cultures. A lot of other travel vloggers plan EVERYTHING out, it's let spontaneous and they use expensive gear. It's like watching a documentary. Please never change!

@@LukeDamant also in 7:52 when you pointed at the Quran playing he thought you said ikhwan, which is ikwan almuslimeen, The Muslim Brotherhood in English. now ikhwan is a certain political party that is a very controversial topic in Egypt years. They have good and bad people but when the Egyptian government held the first democratic election in 2012, a president name Muhammed Morsi that belonged to the Ikhwan party won the election. However the current president Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi did back then a military coup in 2013 to overthrow Morsi and he was successful but many of morsi supporters did a protest and many as a result were killed. Also Morsi was prisoned and there were many human rights violation about his prison conditions and he two years ago from health issues. So in Egypt's near history when you mention ikhwan it is a very sensitive topic. That's why the barber was hesitant and replied no no it's not ikhwan it's Quran.

About 10 years ago, you could never get a shave because Hepatitis C was endemic. One thing that’s improved in Egypt when I visited recently is public health. They’ve managed to stamp out Hepatitis C through public health measures and new medication subsidies. 🇦🇺

The Marks on the Sheep is to mark each herd so it won't get mixed with others. Luke walks into the Barber's shop. The Barber : Turn off the Camera so i can see to my work. Luke : goes no i am not turning it off. The Barber : asks why the Lights on. Luke : gets worried as it's a bit dark for the Barber to shave right..LOL but the Barber was really good. The Barber goes Ok whatever you are filming yourself getting a shave. Luke says yes. And some one at the door goes he is filming while he is getting a shave ,Ok let it be. Luke points at the Quran and the Man thought that you were getting Political.😂 The Barber is having a real good time with you and having a good laugh. The Barber is saying that your skin is burnt..😎 He is an old School barber , Nowadays they have the Steam / Wet Towel / Hot Towel techniques. The Crystal he used on your face is Alum which is really great in Skin treatment.

The problem is when they tear open pimples and the blade is infected. Otherwise there shouldn't be any problems. If the blade has been used and you have blood on your face afterwards, better do a blood test.
