I really enjoy your channel and the information you provide. I have a situation and I need some direction. I am a 69 year old female, born with Spina Bifida, and I use a wheelchair 100% of the time. I have never worked. I learned of and got on SSI and Medicaid in 1976. Things have been wonderful until my father passed away in May of this year. I received Benefits from his SS and VA and one other thing that I can't remember. It all hit my bank account in September and I have now lost my Medicaid. Being disabled and in a wheelchair with other health conditions that require DME and medical supplies on a monthly basis, I have serious issues. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

I have exceeded my $1550.00 allowed income for some months. I work about 17 hours a week. However, the company I work for gives out what they call premiums. That means we receive at random $3.00 per hour more than our normal rate. Also, sometimes, we get up to 5 hours extra time. I have gone over alot for many months. Can I get a payment plan?

What is the COLA increase for 2025? My disability is only increasing by $34.
@TheDisabilityDigest2 күн бұрын
The Social Security Administration has announced a 2.5% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for 2025, resulting in an average monthly increase of about $50 for beneficiaries. However, individual increases can vary based on factors like your primary insurance amount and the specific benefits you receive. An increase of $34 suggests that your current benefit amount is slightly below the average. We understand that this modest increase may not fully address your financial needs, especially with rising living costs. To stay informed about maximizing your benefits and navigating disability assistance, consider subscribing to our channel. We're dedicated to providing valuable information and support to help you make the most of your benefits. 🙏

This really makes me upset because I’ve never collected anything from the government and then I got very sickly. I’m only 58 and I feel as I am in a 90-year-old body. I do get pretty high but not high enough to pay my rent, utilities, etc. I was born here so I was taught by my father to bust my rear, and I did it for 40 years in the Hospice industry. So you’re taking $10 away. How am I going to make more? Why is Trump not aiming at the billionaires and the Hollywood stars that hate him? Why is he disturbing Medicare and disability? He promised he wouldn’t.

If I knew Trump was going to do this to us after all we have gone through. I wouldn’t have voted for him. We will have to get together and write a letter to him. I can’t work . My arthritis is so bad that I cannot walk up the stairs. I can’t bend over and I have neuropathy. It’s total BS . @@TheDisabilityDigest

Had you been up-to-date with all your doctors visits and hospitalizations? Trump was very serious about taking people off that we’re no longer approved or did you get a job? I have arthritis I can’t go up the steps or even open up a package of candy. I have neuropathy they could not take me off if they want to. But I keep all my doctors visits in a file. If you don’t do that, you’re doomed. If you do have them and send them or go see a doctor as soon as possible.
