@@sharpemang its a movie, but you do realize that ET for the Yenko was on pizza cutter tires right? put a set of street slicks and see what it would run, also the "Yenko" was modified, headers are visible under the car when its on the hoist at Tejs garage, it is not a real Yenko car, its a clone, plus they had more than one of each cars The evo is also not geared for 1/4 mile when both the challenger and camaro are, also AWD isn't useful in a straight line at high speeds, robs more power than a RWD car

lol true...even more surprising is how that 'Yank Tank' managed to get stopped and turned around in such a small space so quickly.....then again this is movie so being factually correct isnt the top of the list lol

Things we learned from this: 1. pressing your nitrous button adjusts your boost controller to allow more boost, making it seem like you have a nitrous effect, but in your own head it is in fact nitrous and your vision is automatically blurred too from the excitement 2. race by only using half throttle so that if the other guy catches up, you still have more throttle to give 3. short shift from 4th to 5th so that when the other guy catches up, you can shift down to 4th and actually run the complete rev range
