Thanks Steve. When I do a hoppy beer I recover my cooling water into about 8 pails and re-use that water into my rain barrels for watering the garden. When I do a lager or non-hoppy beer I use the hot cube/natural cooling method. I agree...don't waste water if you don't have to. Use it for the garden or washing. Cheers, Andy
