I am not able to attempt all rc...and if 3 rc comes at starting... I tend to waste too much time on them... This effects my sc score as I hv less time fr it... Could u make a video on how to manage time.. I feel we hv one rc which takes much more time than others...

Hi, Managing time effectively on the GMAT, especially in the context of the Verbal section with RC, CR and SC questions, can be a challenge. The general approach before starting the test is to allocate a rough time limit to each question type. For example, you could allot a maximum of 1.5 minutes to solve one SC question. Similarly, a max of 2-2.5 minutes for CR questions. For each of the RC types, you could further decide the time ranges [1-paragraph short RCs in 3.5-5 minutes or 4-paragraph long RCs in 7-8 minutes]. Try attempting the test while keeping these time limits in mind - over time, with adequate concept building and practice, you will be able to manage time more judiciously.

maam, but in the passage, it is nowhere mentioned that COSTLY signals facilitate moral evaluation, so doesn't that take option B out of scope? (q2)

Hi, In two places the author has explicitly stated that costy signals indicate that you are able to sacrifice or pay a particular cost to signal our commitment. From this we can infer that costly signals are reliable indicators of commitment which in turn expedites moral evaluation.

@@gmatpoint Thank you for the reply. i saw it as a paradox of "A leads to B, and B leads to C, so does A leads to C". seems to be clearer now. thanks again!
