I can't remember how many years ago you started KZbin but it was the same time when through your videos I learned how to do my makeup and actually became obsessed with it. After all this years and a ton of research and makeup obsession while my friends come to me to do their makeup and ask advice I consider myself kind of an expert and I don't feel the need to watch makeup tutorials anymore.. yet it's something about your makeup videos specifically that always make me feel like an amateur, I always learn something new while feeling a little nostalgic in the process. It's OK to have a bad day is one that always stands out for me. And one on her main channel where she had gone to Target and just decided to sit on her floor and show us everything with her camera. Just Ingrid being Ingrid with no over production. Her voice was so soothing as she went into detail about everything and her reasoning. Classic Ingrid. And, of course, Nuggos the Manatee at any time, however a stand out is when he was on her laptop and telephone.

judith m except for the fact that so many other youtubers take into consideration how it looks from a subscribers point of view and don't make every video sponsored. Lots of other beauty people will get a lot of money, probably more, than Ingrid( Jeffrey star) but don't do as money so as to not compromise their good standing and with subscribers

I don't think it's bad that she makes sponsored videos, it's her job. And most of them are still awesome. But, I need to mention.. some of them feel a bit "forced" if you know what I mean? Like the stuff she uses doesn't really fit in, and stuff. Don't get me wrong though, I loooove her! I just think some of the sponsored vids are a bit non-Ingrid ish. And she does a LOT of sponsored videos compared to what she used to. But still it's a job :)

Idk I gotta play devil's advocate here, at least on this one. I understand the frustration when some KZbinrs create constant sponsored videos but this one wasn't even bad. She used the product and didn't even talk about it much longer than the others. It was a pretty smooth sponsorship that didn't really distract from the type of video she'd make anyway. Also a pretty 'real' product, unlike when some KZbinrs make dumb videos for games, apps, or websites that no one even uses or wants to see.
