15 years ago, I could see the stars clearly when I was sleeping on the roof of our home in the city. But now it's impossible to see the stars in the city. This summer I take a trip to the North of the Mediterranean coast in the southern Anatolia/Turkiye. I was traveling on the back of a truck (outside). Altitude has increased to 5000ft circa. And the weather suddenly get cold, temperature decreased to 5 - 10°c (it was middle of the summer). We've come to a place between the mountains. The air was different in there, cold but deliciously clear and spiritual. There was no light, the mountains that surrounding us, was blocking the light like ramparts. first time I have seen the Milky Way that much clear. It was so peacefully fantastic like beeing in space. I lean back and watch the excellence of the endless deep space for few minutes until we cross the mountains... I'm planning to go there again when the weather warms.

These people are always very knowledgeable on life and how it works. Respect and honor are very important: respect the land and what it will provide and respect your family especially your elders and those who have experienced the world. Incredibly hard workers, they are great at turning mundane things into tools or decorations and they will be thankful the entire time. I am not Tuvan but I have a good friend who is Tuvan and he has made me think about aspects of myself and the world I normally ignore like how the day and night are completely different ecosystem and every creature having a purpose and place to be found.

Dan K Learn geography and history first. Other Turkic nations such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are still in Central Asia, neighbouring Mongolia. Also there are many Turks in Mongolia, Siberia (in Russia) and western China etc. Turks of Turkey migrated from Central Asia to Anatolia in between 1016-1071, after 1071 Anatolia became homeland of Turks officially, and since that date we inhabit in Anatolia. Turkic people were nomadic, so they spread to everywhere. Even Turks established states in Europe, Africa, India and so on.

@Free Nigerian Wifi No, they are not Mongols and carry no haologeouos that are associated with mongols. Slovenians carry non-slavic haplogroup (I2; "Sardinian/pre-slavic") and slavic (R1a) DNA. But with the expansion of slavic tribes - the I2 haplogroup carring ppl were absorbed and linguistically fully slavinized. The reason why slavs (as a whole group) differ a lot from eachother in genetics and are a very heterogenous (divers) group. Slavic is primarly an linguistical group; primarly connected due to language. Culturally they are very diverse, as they came with many folks in contact and mixed. However, R1a (Kurgan/Slavic/Aryan) ppl spread also around central Asia and were absorbed by Mongols. This is the reason why many turkic folks carry R1a haplogroup, but it isn't found in high frequencies among Mongols. Highest R1a frequencies are found in Ukrainians and this is also the root of Slavic identity, language and culture.

+jean anton You may be aware...shamanism is world-wide. Australia, the Americas, Africa, Greenland and Asia. In ice age Siberia there was shamanism. From there, it might well have traveled east across the Berring Strait into the Americas and westward it may have gone across Russia and into Black Sea area. When Faruk mentioned 'Turkish people' he was probably referring to the geographic racial stock and their ancestry far back into the past, before Christianity, before Islam, before Zoroaster, etc. (I'm just attempting to "build bridges" between people, that's all...)

This really encapsulates the magic of spirituality for me. The floaty synth is a great. The steady drums. The mild cracks from the fire, and sounds of insects. Then the expressive vocals over it all. Excellent. Thank you for this. Also, it's nice not to hear flutes for once. They're used in most meditation videos I've seen and I really needed something else for a change.

This is actually prehistoric European music of Indo-European culture like andronovo afasnaeva tartysh etc. Who introduced thier culture including horsemanship to Mongolia and rest of East Asia. And Turkish are not primary race they are in fact a secondary race. They born out of paternal side European ancestory and maternal side east Asian ancestory. So Turkish are part European.
