I've partied hard, had sex with many chicks,brothels,strip clubs and all but the day I recognised my own sin I realised what his word meant, Jesus has shown me the way to the kingdom of heaven, I am a sinner and I'll accept that, Nothing in the world brings greater joy than receiving the holy spirit, the blessings of God are spiritual and it sets us free from the world

This kind of reminds me of the Church of Christ that I attended when my work schedule had changed. They had big "sing--along" in one of the parks in Berkeley (California) It was a combination of singers from San Francisco, Berkeley, San Leandro, and other places. It was an incredible witness!!

...useing only the instrument the Lord himself invented...all others are cold, mechanical, poor human imitations of God's own handiwork..(1 Cor. 13:1)..
@herinsh
@herinsh 2 жыл бұрын
Michael and company certainly are blessed with beautiful voices and Michael ha a beautiful gift in arranging harmonies, but your completly absurd with your extrapolation of 1Cor 13:1, furthermore we arre exorted to utilize instruments as well throughout the Psalms. One would do well to remember that true worship brings the "applause of Heaven, not simply the accolades of men".
@anarchorepublican5954
@anarchorepublican5954 2 жыл бұрын
@@herinsh ...How ironic...Instrumental music in worship is in fact nothing but a display of human talent-pride and for the accolades of men...some churches even sell tickets🎟 to some of their "worship events"...Instruments was invented by human sinners, not God (Gen 4:21) to soothe the fickle tastes of sinners...worse ...what passes for so-called Christian Worship today just imitates low quality 80's Rock and Rap🎤🎸... truly pathetic ...instruments are dead and unloving, just banging and clanging away🎺🥁🔈♒☠... St Paul said so, ...and of course they are- in your heart you know I'm correct...its why my innocuous little post hit such a raw nerve with you... All Old Testament religious practices, including Instruments, were only a carnal earthly shadow of the spiritual ... The Psalms is not a source of authority for Christian worship practices - if you're not entirely theologically ignorant, and you know that as well... Here's my question to you ..if the Old Testament is your source of authority for your precious musical Instruments in Christian Worship...Then "arre"(your spelling Btw) WE not also "exorted" to worship by sacrificing animals (...or burning incense, keeping Jewish Feast Days, purification rules, Temple functions ...etc.etc. infinitum) throughout the Psalms, and entire Old Testament??... it's actually real simple...see WE (christians) were not "exorted" to use instruments in the Psalms...but THEY(Hebrews) were "exorted" to...we on the other hand ,were specifically exhorted "...to sing and make the melody in your heart..." (Eph 5:19)...

@@anarchorepublican5954 all scripture is profitable when Paul penned it certainly only pertained to the “Hebrew Scriptures “ not one word of his writings ought to be understood without the foundation of the Torah, Prophet’s & Psalm’s, they’re all about Yeshua’s the Messiah, he’s not just Yehovah’s Salvation for the Jew’s or all Israel, but to all who believe.

@anarchorepublican5954 2 жыл бұрын
@@herinsh ...you've either avoided my question regarding less popular, or absolute Old Testament worship rites (incense, feast days, animal sacrifice)... or you are a more consistent "messianic believer"(which I doubt)...either way there is absolutely no evidence that musical instruments ever were used in ancient synagogue worship...in fact Orthodox Jewish Cantors are still acapella..... three more questions: 1...and how about circumcision?🔪🍠 (... your Yudaizing" comment reminds me of an olde joke about the Rabbi who didn't charge for circumcisions...he only took tips)🍩... 2. ...and was it not in fact the Torah of Moses, that tell us that it was the unrighteous grandson of Cain who invented musical instruments in his pride and vanity??? (Gen 4:21) 3. Did not Paul command christian congregations to imitate the traditions he established (baptism, Lord's supper, singing with melody in you heart..etc) ...not following the traditions of Moses or David (circumcision, temple worship, feast days, trumpets, tambourines, harps)...
@herinsh
@herinsh 2 жыл бұрын
@@anarchorepublican5954 What out to be of concern is the practice of the Tabernacle or the Temple, what’s done by pharasaic Jews is totally irrelevant. With regard to circumcision, it is relevant only to those who would inherit land in Israel, as to festival observation, Paul’s instruction never negate’s the instructions given at Sinai, there prophetic shadow remains beyond the fulfillment of the Spring mode & continues to forecast a time yet to come, Let’s not forget the trumpet blasts. It’s absolutely absurd to suggest that Cains willful sin constitutes a rebellion in his offspring apart from the general deprivity received from adams fall, let’s not forget that the vast majority of Seth’s descendants drowned in the flood
