To everyone saying this is too hard: don't give up! If you stick to it and try and learn a bit every day and reflect on what you've learnt, you will get there. It took 5 years of living in Denmark for me to become fluent. It doesn't happen overnight so do not be discouraged. You will make LOTS of mistakes, and that's okay because it's all part of learning a language. I hope this helps keep you motivated :)

I am learning Danish in Duolingo for almost 3 weeks now, my mothertongue is Dutch so it doesn't seem that difficult, and I'm going very well with the course, almost half-way and I feel like I'm learning, from these dialogues I still don't understand the whole story, but some words, that's already better than 3 weeks ago haha

Thank you for your fantastic help. But, would you, could you PLEASE go slowly? The sentences are spoken far too quickly. Yes, something along the lines of these conversations might happen, but it's usually more casual. @@eugeniaromero4275 Ok so, Danes speak very.. slobbish if that makes sense. We don’t pronounce the words like they’re spelled, and we definitely don’t pronounce every syllable of a word like in this video. This video is, in my opinion, too stiff and unnatural, so I wouldn’t use this as my main source if I were you. If you do, you’re gonna be shocked when you have your first conversation with an actual Danish person. It’s gonna feel like they’re mumbling every sentence like a drunk. @Mortion Cano, I think, that you might be wrong about it. You are a native speaker, but not a Danish teacher, so you might be wrong in your conclusions about the educational methods used in this video. The dialogs shouldn't be too natural for people, that have just started to learn Danish and may not have a too high language level. More important thing is that they are more clear and more understandable. Yeah, we understand that Danes speak very slobbish and don't pronounce the words like they are spelled and in this video, it is not like that. But still, people who have started learning a new language should begin with SOMETHING, which seems to be good material for them. You are fluent in Danish as a native speaker, but I think that if you would try to TEACH somebody else to talk Danish, this might be much more challenging than you expect.
