When I first heard this, I didn't understand a single word, but I started writing down the dialogue I was able to connect the English and Hebrew words and I watched the video and traced the dialogue with my hand, now I can understand almost everything they're talking about. Writing down the dialogue and following it with the video helped me a lot. Try it.

One of the hardest things with these videos is when you learn a word such as bevakasha and are told one time it means "please", and then it shows up here as "there you go". This is quite confusing for the new learner. I wish there was a way around that, so we knew both potentials. Maybe putting it in brackets. The second, is not knowing which Hebrew words attach to which English words, as the sentence structures are different and there is a lot of very loose translation. It might work to have the exact word for word under the Hebrew and also the loose translation under that, so we can carry words from this to form other sentences.

Salam from Turkey, i liked your language , it sounds extremely different from Arabic even though they are said cousin languages, Hebrew sounds like very easy something French alike in developed east culture.i really like it a lot. at least it sounds like normal to learn not like Arabic.

shalom ….on these videos you listen to the language spoken by European jews as a result it does not seem close to the arabic language ..however the same words spoken by oriental jews will make the language seem closer to Arabic …anyway ,in reality ,the grammar and the roots of the words are very close in both languages even it does not seem so due to the prononciation.

Fast?!?! This is actually very slowed down(0.5-0.75) compared to natural speesh in Israel.. These texts here are very basic, very clear and nicely standard., i lived in Israel for a while and i know Hebrew quite well.. I was able to understand really easy.. Normally they speak a lot faster!!

la langue hébraïque d’origine n’a pas grand chose à voir avec cette vidéo en hébreu moderne du fait que les standards de l’hébreu moderne ont été établis par des juifs venus d’Europe incapables de prononcer les lettres gutturales caractéristiques des langues d’origine sémitiques .cependant si les mêmes textes étaient lus par des juifs originaires de pays arabes vous auriez plus entendu les similitudes avec l’arabe …de toute façon pour parler de grammaire ou de racine des mots les deux langues sont très proches ….
