The Poke comic strip was a pretty neat idea. The 3AM one was good, had a funny punch line. Would have been awesome if it kept going. Much better than Peanuts. DYKG probably just read the worst ones, and one of them was still good.

It’s still going strong as the pokemon franchise is the highest grossing media franchise ever. It’s far from dead or close to it. It’s not even 30 years old yet, in which it will be in just 2 years from now. Pokemon just has a lot of ways to make money. Whether it’s the mainline games, spinoff games, the movies, the manga, the millions they make off jets and guide books, merchandise, tcg, mobile games, vgc, and everything else they make and own. The Pokemon franchise even outsells older franchises and companies older than it like Star Wars, marvel, Disney, dragon ball, ONE PIECE, and much more.

Whether it was Pokémon Gold Silver and Crystal or Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Gen 2 is the absolute best generation in the franchise. Yes HGSS is technically Gen 4 but still. Gen 4 is also the 2nd best generation imo.
