Grew up fishing that river, still come down from the cities and musky fish it a few times a year. First 50” I caught was in November below the dam and this February I just got my pb brown at 26” on one of the tributaries. Awesome river and once you get away from the dam really doesn’t get hit that hard

I know. This river here is usually insane, just super low water this time of year, otter river is a bit away and most of NDs fishing is in north Dakotah rivers

Good afternoon everybody, does anyone know of good techniques to remove frog hooks? Yesterday, i caught a 3-4 pound bass with a popping booyah frog and it took me 2-3 minutes and a cut up hand to get it out. Tips?

The way I do it is I hold the frog and push down and out, it’s hard to explain on text, but I’d recommend watching a youtube video

Small mouth like more current and oxygenated water. Your in large mouth territory the last hour of vid. First half of vid was too shallow and your retrieve is too fast. Need to slow it down

The retrieve is never to fast for smallies haha, it was shallow but it’s usually deeper just not that time of year. I’ve caught more smallies than largies at that second spot actually
