This park is fantastic. The lake is so shallow in parts you can walk out super far, but there is also a deeper area with cliffs where folks used to dive.

My elementary school class went on this hike once back in the 70s (the school was in Golden). I can still remember this walk after all this time. A bit rougher terrain but none of us cared, we got to sit in the forest and eat our lunches; it was an amazing experience for us kids.

Yet another of your videos where practically every frame is a picture-postcard-caliber work of art...! Usually I'm a little irritated by interruptions to the dreamlike forward motion of the hiking, to show a "still", but this time there was so much gorgeous scenery at this location to look at, I'm really grateful! Overall, a great and visual experience! I’m slightly past the halfway mark. I’m enjoying everything I see in here even though I feel that the amount of birds chirping does not match the surroundings, but it’s still a a nice touch. There was a good segment of walking through almost a dry river bed, but there was some water flowing through it. I kept thinking to myself what this would look like if there was water flowing through all of this.

Enjoy a pleasant walking tour through beautiful forest to Emerald Lake, I love this video, quiet and relaxing, but then all of a sudden this very loud and annoying advertisement comes on and destroys the relaxing feeling. When everything is so relaxing, the ad is a real blow to the senses . LOL Guess I will just have to save the video to my computer then watch it without the ads.
