The breakdowns don’t take into account the time left in the played game, except perhaps when explaining why moves are missed. The breakdowns are for understanding and learning from positions and tactics. Time left is irrelevant to that end.

I can’t say I’ve watched every Coffee Chess video, but of the many I have watched, this was the first where I honestly wondered what he was doing and why. Another commenter posited that he threw the game for some reason, but I personally feel like he simply played poorly. Maybe it’s just that Dave seems to usually win with a heroic series of moves that seem to come when all is nearly lost, but this game really seemed like Dave was the superior player from start to finish.
