Trying tonight! Made my own montreal steak seasoning since i didnt have any. Wouldnt you know it has paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, coriander, dill weed, and crushed red pepper. So for everyone that is being ignorant, there you go.

Once it’s cooked, (I always use chuck roast), and super tender, I add to my homemade spaghetti sauce! So much better than meatballs! Over thin spaghetti, with potato salad and garlic bread. Dessert? Chocolate cake!

I would add 1 cup of water to the instant pot with the rest of the ingredients and cook on high pressure for 30-35 min :)

The next step would be: 1. Separate and reduce the juices 2. Add minced garlic, onions, shallots, seasoning 3. Add cream or butter, or both. 4. Season to taste.

Yes! It works as long as you use the right meat cut and close the lid tightly… the meat will cook in it’s own juice.

It works but you have to use a Dutch oven, it won’t work in a regular pan or uncovered.

My god, you will literally bitch about anything, won't you? It's a Dutch oven... solid cast iron! Will never have to replace it as long you keep it clean and oiled. $50-$60 for a lifetime product is overpriced? Go back to your freezer dinners and leave the cooking to the adults.

I was going to smoke one, and life happened, so I needed a quick way to cook it, found this and I pulled out my LE CREUSET, added half a cup of water, a little more Montreal and a stir every 15 minutes. mine was as tender as a 13-hour smoked brisket. Loaded it on top of mashed potatoes with green beans on the side. Turned out great 👍

No water needed, the meat cooks in its own juice…. That’s how cook it:) If you want you are welcome to add some water :)

I tried this and my meat turned to charred beef jerky! Other shorts suggest adding water or broth!

I think your oven might be too strong. Or maybe the lid wasnt tight enough and steam escaped? I never add broth to mine but my oven sucks so that might be why it never dries out. I always use a dutch oven.

My go to chuck recipe is salt pepper garlic powder. Light sear then cover it with onion soup mix and cover in foil and cook at 375 for about an hour a pound, usually about 3-4.
