My guess is that the fan is trying to pull too much current out of the battery. It is actually possible to pull power out of the charging port and even put it into another phone, The fan is using this trick but the fan has clearly damaged the phone's battery and legitimately fried the CPU. Do not try this fan on your phone, the manufacturer has clearly created a short circuit with the lighting connector on the fan. Plus, the battery will overheat and can explode. iPhones can actually overheat sometimes and they do not like it. This is Chinese quality shit.

Lee Donohue That should be impossible since they have a thermal fuse: if the temperature rises too high it will cut the power to the phone completely. You must wait for it to cool down until the fuse resets.

How old are you because it seems like you are going off of the opinions of your parents, here are a few examples, Trump accused Megyn Kelly of being on her period when she questioned him on misogynistic and sexist comments he has made in the past, he is very outspoken on being very prejudice towards mexicans with him calling them rapists and murderers, and has accused John McCain of not being a war hero when trump has never been close to a war zone and actually deferred his draft.
