I am a Christian in 3d generation and grew up in God fearing family but didn’t know about Yom Kippur either until couple years ago here in America ( In over 50 and grew up in East Europe)my grandma didn’t read my mom had only 3 or 4 classes of education my father didn’t finish high school but they raised 6 children in that atheistic society that love and fear God
