@@hammdogporkington3058 In fact arena it's not the sencond-largest gamemode, that would be constructed itself as Battleground is played more. unless they make specific changes to cards in arena only they will never be balanced, and this would also change the fundamental idea of picking random cards from constructed and playing them. they should just make DK appear less and rune cards appear less too.

I was recently daydreaming of a "Wildly Nerfed" gamemode where like 90% of cards since Classic are Nerfed to be more in line with OG power levels. Like, Denathrius being 10/10 infuse (10) do just the 10 damage, and Snowfall Graveyard being FIRST deathrattle each turn triggers twice, Ultimate Infestation doing 3 of everything, etc. Would be an intriguing version of wild.

@@maxdewitte4038 played a couple runs since then and it still seems very clearly like a buff to DK. a "little" tweaking doesn't help when one class has a 20% higher winrate than the other classes. Malignent horror is now OP in arena at 4 corpses and since most of the card buffs were 1-2 rune cards any balance changes are easily negated. Things like malignent and muncher appear all the time at common and rare rarity. 2 unholy 1 blood DK is especially overpowered with things like army of the dead, Mortician, plague strike, Mal horror, Possessifier, gnome muncher ALL AT COMMON RARITY. the top 5 out of the top 7 cards for DK are unholy common cards.....let that sink in.

I genuinely think that death knight should be banned in arena. It fundamentally cannot be balanced just because of how it was designed. It was a massive oversight that breaks the gamemode which they won't compensate arena players for or likely fix anytime soon. It's pretty telling how the literal lowest card winrate in dk is unpowered steambot a 4 mana 0/9 with a 55% winrate.

Arena abysmal right now. last 4 arena runs no DK for me, 11 losses from DK's. Its to the point where if you pick DK your actively ruining the fun for everyone not able to be blessed with it themselves.
