@@recoil53 no u dont. regular mixer grinders work just fine. or you can even use store bought dosa batter. i would say 'id' brand is best if u r in India but maybe u get it abroad also

4:10 usually i add water first, and when the water fully evaporates, let it sear for like 15ish seconds and your done. (just make sure the pan is nonstick)

One of the things that irks me about all these Tasty (and Food Network) chefs/cooks are that they dump the meat into a bowl and then add the veggies before breaking it up and stirring it together. That takes 3x longer than if they break up the meat first and then add the veggies. Plus it makes for better distribution of meat and veggies this way.

I even do my meatloaf that way. You don't want to mix the meat up too long, otherwise it gets springy, so you break it up

@@recoil53 That's how my mom taught me and I've been doing it that way for over 25 yrs. Plus, if you break up your meat in the skillet (using nylon utensils of course) it acts as a trick to your brain to see that clump of meat in the package all of a sudden become 2-3x more than it was. Then your brain says "hey, there's so much here, we can't eat all of this now. Let's eat a small portion and then save the rest" Also, this allows more of the meat to take on more seasoning and not just the top layer. There is science involved here folks.
