Article 244(A) means to create Autonomous State for East,West Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao within the State of Assam for Tribal people but still today Government of Assam and India doesn't implement this Article ....several movement were launched since 1970 and still today but government have no interest in us ....more than 1000 people's lost there lives for the cause of Autonomous State ....even several BJP leaders like Rajnat Singh and many more leaders came to Karbi Anglong and promise us that "if BJP came to power in centre we will definitely implement Article 244A for Karbi,Dimasa and for all indigenous Tribal people " but after coming to power they said that BJP have no agenda to create Autonomous State..even Sixth Schedule is violating in Karbi Anglong all our right were taken by the Assamese Government inorder to destroy the Culture of Karbi ,Dimasa and all the other tribals people

States under Six schedule of Indian constitution : Assam( Dima hassao, karbi anglong, west karbi anglong and bodo), meghalaya(kashi,jyanta and garo ), Tripura and Mizoram( chakma, lai and Mara). 2. PRI is in the 11 schedule added by 73 rd constitutional amendment. 3.uraban institution or municipalities are in the 12th schedule of Indian constitution added by 74 th constitutional amendment.
