2 Month Follow Up on the Armatus Carry Sheath

In this video we talk about the Armatus Carry Sheath I got for my PR-4. I've carried it for a little over 2 months and have been incredibly pleased with it. I'll discuss how I've carried it and my thoughts. (Forgive the back ground noise, the shop was hot and I had the fan running on high)

I regularly EDC a few TOPS (Tex Creeks and Baja 3.0), along with a Barky "Squad Leader", in an Architect. For my money, these are the BEST sheaths out there. Matt makes amazing stuff. You really want to be impressed?...send your knife into him, and have him fit your actual blade. Absolute Perfection! I don't know how he does it. But, he manages to bridge the gap between "too tight" and "not tight enough". For a long time now, whenever I buy a new blade, I always factor-in the cost of an Armatus Architect. It is my "go to" sheath. 👍

I have one for my Esee AGK. It is very versatile. Sadly, I can only "outside carry" while camping. So, i went back to the Esee 3/AGK sheath w/metal clip. I use the Esee PR4 TKC sheath with their scales. I also got another one for the stock scales. It fits perfect, you just have to heat the sheath and pinch it in a bit at the finger guard, for "clip" in retention. Good Info. Thanks!

I had a few laminate flooring samples I heated with a heat gun and folded it over a knife then clamped it then added holes. I worked rather well and was free

@@dkperu8558 ah, now I will say that that sheath didn't hold as tight of a retention as I like and I did have to tighten it up but other than that I can't complain. My second one was a tighter fit than the first sheath though.

@@CentralKyBushcraft My sheath was extremely tight and I could not draw it out and I am a pretty strong guy. Junk sheath period.
