To be released February 6th, the Viltrox 28mm F4.5 AF lens. A great alt to the Fuji pancake, but a lot thinner!

I've definitely been interested in this model since it came out. I'm still hesitating a bit before getting it because of the lack of IBIS. However, I intend to prepare it as a rig for filming fiction and certainly the weight of a rig or other form of grip or even a simple gimbal would be enough but, in view of the images shot handheld that I've seen, it seems unusable for cinema because of these kinds of "rolling shutter defects". Of course the lack of a viewfinder, but that's negligible once in a rig. If this problem is not adjustable, I would be forced to go for an XT-5 even if 40 + megapixels are not what I'm looking for. At worst, I'm also looking into Sigma's "fp's" which have a stabilization system they call EIS. My preference still goes to the X-M5, otherwise my initial budget risks doubling but that's it, it's a classic.

I’ve been rocking a Ricoh griii, I love it but idk if I’d want to sell it to get an x-m5. I want to get into the fujifilm system.

I think the Ricoh GRiii has its own place for point and shoot cameras! But the XM5 would be a great step into the fuji system especially if you’re looking to start expanding into different lens options!

In daylight there is no difference no difference between this camera and iphone 16 pro max camera.
