A few days ago i was watching this video when my friends' daughter happened to be in the living room as well. Between the lightsabers and how enthusiastic you are, she was pretty enthralled with your video. In fact, after this video we watched another 3 videos of yours back to back cuz everytime we saw a thumbnail that had your face or a lightsaber on it, she'd say "watch that movie!" Just went to downtown Disney in California a couple days ago and was able to get this set for me and my brother. They had 10 left at the time I purchased them. I’m very happy that I was finally able to be at the parks at the same time they had the limited edition sets available. This is an awesome set

I really enjoy your videos, particularly THIS one! I've been wanting a DV3 for years so with any luck they may be available outside the box set soon. I think Disney has been using the DV3 design on some of the toy sabers sold in the parks for a few years now (I picked one up back in 2018). Master Replicas did a 1:1 and 0.45 scale DV3. And I kid you not - I have a Darth Vader novelty barbecue tong where the handle is a 1:1 scale DV3 hilt. I guess you grab your steak and say in a deep voice " I have you now". :)

Was looking on Fanporium, I remember the Stellan Gios got a gray crate release on Star Wars weekend when I went for May the Fourth. An now they revealed the Ki-Adi Mundi is getting a gray crate release this year. So here’s hoping that the Anakin Padawan Lightsaber gets a gray crate release

I had the original gigantic Anakin AOTC FX lightsaber that Master Replicas put out. Nice to see a smaller one. I for one plan to get a neo pixel version of it along with other sabers. I'd rather have accurate size hilts. It's hard to tell if this is the same size as the original Master Replicas version. If you have the original Master Replicas one can you post a picture of the two side by side? For the price tag though it's not too bad. I'm sure scalpers will be listing it for more than it's worth which really disgusts me.

Is this Darth Vader saber the one that Darth Vader put a switch on the hilt to extend or decrease the length of the blade of his lightsaber or is that a different lightsaber?

Actually yes, you are very knowledgable about his saber. I believe most savers had adjustments for the power or strength, and the length of the blade.

Honestly, I always thought the Anakin ep2 saber from 89 was a bit too small, so a little Disney on this one shouldn't hurt. Gotta get my hands on that DV3, SWEEET! Yes, Obi-Dad, ive been eyeballing that DV3 from 89 for awhile now. Sorry, I think the ep2 sounds like the Obi-Wan ep1. The DV3 sounds great.

That double swing sound from that ep1 hilt definitely sounds like it came from when the Tuskens were confronting Anakin in front of his mother’s hut. Its the exact sound from when he got in his stance to start killing them. Dont ask why I remembered that. Maybe because im a sound/music guy lol. Its supposed to have a hum & design similar to vaders so it was obvious that Anakin would be vader eventually

The EP II saber is a bit interesting in the fact that I don't think anyone has made it quite accurate in its finish. I have read in several spots that the prop is *polished aluminum* instead of the chrome finish most or all makers choose.

If I can give you my suggestion, you should get it at a custom saber site… it’ll be more expensive but it’s way better quality and more features than what Disney makes. That’s what I did. But it’s all up to you man

the episode 2 anakin clash sounds are samples taken directly from episode 2 im pretty sure, atleast some of them sound like sounds in episode 2, the ignition on the episode 3 saber seems to just be a deeper pitch version of the episode 2 saber and the swings are kinda "buzzier" on the episode 2 saber aswell, the vader saber swings sound "slow" because they are very slowed down and pitched down, which in my opinion doesnt fit vader, he usually has those sharp, razor-like swings sounds from empire strikes back duel on cloud city

I am at Batuu East and Dok Ondars informed me that the Darth Maul is retired due to the black box set being sold but they Retired the Anakin Jedi Knight grey box. Which to me means the Padawan saber maybe released. So fingers crossed

I've been collecting Disney legacy lightsabers now for a couple years and I have to admit, the D23 clone wars box set is a blatant cash grab on Disney's part. In order to even get a chance to purchase the set, they're making customers sign up for a D23 gold membership, which is an extra $100 (and was not advertised until the day it was released). I've seen a lot of comments already from people who signed up for the gold membership and then went back to purchase the clone wars set, only to find it was already sold out. While over on eBay, they are reselling for over $6,000. Not to mention all 3 of the lightsaber hilts in the set are old and have been available for purchase separately for a long time now, and the Ahsoka hilt doesn't even come with the smaller shoto hilt. The box and autographs are cool, but they at least could've put the autographs on the hilts themselves. I myself bought the D23 chosen one set off of eBay for a decent price, which I think the box artwork is much cooler, it plays music like some of the previous sets and came with two brand new, never before released hilts, including Anakins EP 2 padawan lightsaber and the EP 3 vader hilt, both of which are awesome btw. And this chosen one set was exclusive to in person purchase at D23, which IMO makes it more of a rare collectable than the clone wars set.
