I just came across your video, but am sending a late thank you. I already have hair scrunchies from other sources, always had problems putting them on, but now realize I was doing it wrong. I was putting my hair in a ponytail, then wrapping them around a couple of times. The bun & bobbie pin will work much better.

Bravo!!! Absolutely love that you ladies offer these pieces in your fabulous colors!! You nailed it! I have 2 scrunchies I bought at my local beauty supply. They are the closest ones I could find to use with my hair color, and they are actually too dark. I love that you have the blended colors. So forgiving & it fills a huge void in the industry. In order to wear the ones I have, I pull my hair through the center of the scrunchie and double wrap it to hold my “pony tail”. Then I pull my hair over top of the curls on the. Scrunchie and tuck them all the way around. I then use a ponytail holder over the top to hold my hair down around the off color curls. In addition to helping it look more natural, it gives me “helper hair” volume to my buns. Great for hot summer days or when I want to run out and just throw my hair up quickly. 1 min I look like I spent tons of time on my hair. Can’t wait to get a few of yours. Have a feeling they would be gorgeous with the chopsticks method. The ones I have are too “off” from my color to do that look, and I do not have enough thickness in my bio hair to camo it like I can the bun.

GodivasSecretWigs Hello, Rochelle! I do love so many of your products & videos. In the 6 months since I found your channel, I have watched the majority of your videos. They are fabulous. I have watched so many that I know Selma, Freedom, Kayla, Candace, Cristi, and Katie wigs on sight. Once I receive my scrunchies, I will be happy to take some pictures of the chopstick method. It is really simple. Do a bun, and criss cross chopsticks through it with equal amounts of the sticks poking out above and below. Then put a scrunchie around the top and bottom of 1 side. Twist it into a figure 8 over the center of the bun and wrap the other half around the chop sticks on the other side. You can double the scrunchies if you wish. You can also do it with the sticks wide to go side to side or closer together to go top to bottom. It can be done in middle of the back or higher to be an elegant top bun look. It can also be done with your hair coming through the Center instead of just laying on top.

Cute, cute, cute! I had recently purchased a clip in pony to try. (before I discovered GSW!!) The color was so close to my hair that even my brother and close friend didn't realize it wasn't my own. Funny because I'd have to be like one of those dolls that had the rachet hair. Remember those? You pull it to make it long and pull again to shorten? I did trim it down to a more realistic length. But I wear it every day!! Love it. It's what has eased me into having the nerve to try a wig. I absolutely ADORE the iced mocha after seeing it in that pony!! Gorgeous!! I always wear a hair scrunchy and this is how I attach it......Make a high ponytail with your own hair then wrap it around and pin with a bobby pin, making a bun. Then take a shortened wood chopstick (cut to 4 inches) and in front of the bun, put it through your hair. Then you place the scrunchy over the ends of the chopstick and it stays in place without pinning it on. I use 2 scrunchies, one over the other, on the chopstick. I get compliments all the time!

Hi Lily, to make a pony tail hairpiece look realistic on your head, you need to be able to make a tiny or larger ponytail of your own. Otherwise, you can make a ponytail with our longer wigs or possibly even top pieces; depending on how your hair is cut. It's all about illusion. So happy you found us! Love my Silver Stone scrunchie!!! Like you, Rochelle, I like height on top so I put my long THIN hair in a high ponytail and add the scrunchie for a polished look. I went to order a 2nd (silver stone) scrunchie today and now its sold out. I noticed most of the gray color scrunchies are sold out. Sandy silver in the scrunchie is not the same as my topper I bought in that color (matched my hair perfect) and its way too dark on me. Just curious are the colors sold out forever?? Hi Cindy, Rochelle here! Of course, you can trim it or thin it. You could also wind some of the hair on the outside around the top and clip it. GodivasSecretWigs Before my hair grew a little longer, my own ponytail was very small and thin. A shorter hair chopsticks went through my hair/the elastic/the hair on the other side. A hairy scrunchie was figure-eighted around the stick ends and the weak little pony tail. It was magic - it would hold all day!

hello ladies, thank you for great video! ive used scrunchies & ponytail clip ins off & on for over 40yrs. ive always had extremely fine thin hair, thats why i use them.lol, trying to decide on color, does the moccachino have any red/copper tones? i color my hair a med. copper brown/blonde so i like the reddish. i think the spring honey may be too light. thank you so much!!

Hi Suzanne, I will make a video on this; in the meantime, "crack" the claw clip to break it apart from the pony and sew 2 wig clips, one on each side at the top. It will sit flatter and be more realistic with fine hair. If your bun is tiny, are you trying our "Secret Scrunchie"? It's smaller. However, whichever one you try, I suggest, as we always do to crisscross bobby pins through the piece and your hair - or try with a claw clip to grab onto the hair piece and clip around your little bun. Maybe you said the color of Rochelle 's clip in pony and I missed it. That looks like a color I might could use. Seems my thin, zero body or curl,, baby fine hair color is between dishwater and mouse and darker underneath. Please, always tell the color any time you are doing a demo. Great suggestion Laura! We'll make this video soon! In the meantime, store the wig inside out, unless you used our low-alcohol hair spray and your wig is set a certain way - then keep it on a wig head. There are many ways to store wigs; here are some suggestions: In separate shoe boxes with the name of the wig written on the box, hanging shoe holder, plastic storage box under your bed or closet, hanging hooks with your wig inside out. Most important is never store a wig in a hot area - like in a car or trunk. Hope that helps!

Hi Abby, Rochelle here! Yes and no; synthetic wigs are a type of plastic and dyes will just fall off when rinsed. You could, however, put a rinse on them, since you don't rinse a 'rinse' off until you're finished with it. Our color blends are beautiful and modern. Color is something we are very careful about.
