But you’ve got to love the Dancing Man Brewery, it’s a great place😁👍 also worth a mention is the Platform Tavern just down the road towards the cruise terminals nr Queens Park!

I call Southampton my home (by choice not birth) and think it is *such* an underrated city. Thanks for shining a spotlight on some great choices, though as you say it's just scratching the surface, there's also our lovely central parks, southampton common, bedford place, the cultural quarter with galleries and theatres, cafes, multicultural cuisine and breweries, craft beer, and plenty of vibrant suburbs with their own identities. And it is a city that is constantly becoming more visitor friendly, walkable and attractive

That last bar looks fascinating, more for the ‘younger’ element than the likes of me though. The cocktails looked fabulous as did the food in the South Indian restaurant. Hope you are enjoying your cruise.
