2 nights WINTER SNOW CAMPING in the Australian backcountry. -5 DEGREES.

Me and my brother Guy head way out back of Kosciusko National park and spend two nights enjoying the last of the seasons snow. We set up camp in two insane locations, cold plunge in an alpine river, try our hand at some basic mountaineering skills (with arguable success) and get treated to possible Australia's best sunset. We take a tour of the NEMO Kunai 3p tent and why I like it. Possibly my favourite video to date. Pour a drink, pop some corn, pull up a stump and enjoy. Z.

Thank you. It was, a lot of hard miles AND a lot of fun. -5 is cold for Aus for sure which I know in the scheme of things isn’t that cold - this was spring too. Lowest I’ve personally experienced out there is -11c and a quick google tells me coldest ever recorded was -23c in 1994. Cheers for the comment Z.
