@@RingerThomas Basically what we hear was metal on metal and bad hammers. Now that they have replaced the hammers it will take time before we hear the chimes when we knew them. Its like changing a battery on a quartz clock. At first the pitch sounds different and you don't recognize it but then as time goes on you start to hear the chime the way you remember hearing it years ago.

@@carwashslayer4235 the actual tone of the bell may be different as the hammers are stiking the bells at a different point, as i believe the quarter bells have all been quarter turned. in regards to the clapper just wait for the paint to wear off a bit and hopefully they'll sound fine. its the same for full circle bells too
