This choice has come up in discussions involving the 1 Whisky per Region challenge lately. I think you've ranked them perfectly. Well done, Alan!

Two of my favorite 10s. One day I prefer one, another day the other. Love them both equally. Fun review!

Great head to head of two great whiskies. They are hard to find in the great white north but they are fantastic.

Alan, great H2H. Haven't had the Hazelburn 10 just the 12 year oloroso. Love the SB 10, have 2 different years and both are very good. With hot summer I'm enjoying the Glencadam 10 for it's fresh and lighter notes.

If you need any bottle from Campbeltown, just ask Allan! Nice collection mate! Now the mystery has been solved!

Springbank 10 is amazing, but Hazelburn 10 gets the edge for me. It’s probably the best summer dram on the market.

If you buy all those bottles of Springbank in the rest of Europe there are few left and the price is definitely exaggerated for that 10 years. Well made and intriguing but even if I could I would never spend 100 euros for stuff that is half as good. The same is happening for Balvenie

Great head to head Alan. My only question is when looking at the H10 I have to remind myself that Campbeltown is actually to a degree a Lowland with Island influence. The H10 is intended to be a lighter profile than the SB10. I scored them the same as you at first until I readjusted my thoughts to what each is trying to do. With that in mind I really feel they are equal. The H10 is more complex than I first felt. I seem to expect the SB funk and it was never intended to be exactly that. Just a thought, Neal
