howcome when i put a video in it splits the video into two and only lets me look at one and wont let me cut it??

Kdenlive automatically splits the video and audio into separate tracks. To cut, Click on the video in the Timeline > Select the Razor Tool > Cut the track. Make sure that none of your Video or Audio Tracks are locked. Otherwise, you won't be able to make edits.

I have a video 4 hours long and would like to chop 2 hours off the beginning & 1 hour off the end. Can you please explain this to me? I don't really need any of the other features right now... that'll be another day. Thank you very much.

Navigate to the 2 hr mark, use the Razor tool to cut what you don't need and delete. Do the same for the end.

I took a existing video, I removed the area/sound I did not want. I made sure there was no spaces. First I did a save as since I was going to come back and do more edits. I also did rendering. Once I returned, it gave me this error "The Project File Contains Missing Clips Or Files". Could someone tell me what I need to do or where can I learn how to fix this issue to avoid wasting more time.

Maybe you moved the files to a different location after you imported it?

Kdenlive does not watermark your videos. You can add your own if you like.

The latest upgrade has serious instability issues, the worst upgrade ever from what was a perfect, very nice program to work in. They really blew it. It freezes for anything I want to do and needs to be forced to close.
